Team Immunity’s original League of Legends team today announced their departure from the organisation. The team has formed a new organisation, Exodus Gaming, and will be maintaining the same roster going forward.
Despite a surprise 2-3 loss to Legacy eSports in the Oceanic Winter Regional Finals, Exodus Gaming has been the dominant team in the Oceanic League of Legends scene for several years, and will be looking to continue that form as they strike out on their own.
Frank Li, Manager for Exodus Gamer, released this statement:
“We are excited as a team to take the next step in our journey through eSports. I’d like to personally thank Tony Trubridge and Team Immunity for giving us the opportunity to compete under their banner. Whilst it feels like an eternity since we first signed with them, creative and operational differences have led to this. I feel that although Team Immunity is a powerhouse in Oceanic eSports, right now we have the opportunity to make something special happen. I wish the best to the iM 2 team and the organisation itself in the future.
With the support of the fans and the community, we also hope to be a driving force in the Oceanic eSports community. Thank you to all our fans who have supported us so far and we hope to bring your support into a bright and successful future.”
The team’s roster includes:
Top: Brandon “Swip3rR” Holland
Jungle: Sam “Spookz” Broadley
Mid: Simon “Swiffer” Papamarkos (captain)
AD Carry: Derek “raydere” Trang
Support: Andrew “Rosey” Rose
